PERSONAL TRAINING, WHO IS IT FOR?

Whilst I train a variety of people I specialise in working with people who want to feel great whatever the age. Getting fitter and stronger whilst losing weight (and keeping it off!) are common goals. Often clients have some form of joint pain.

When helping people to make a change to their health and fitness I recognise that each element above will have an effect on the outcome. I’m here to educate, shift mindset and empower you to make long-term change.

Fitness
  • What does a normal session look like?
    The sessions are tailored to your goals and preferences so my sessions can vary a lot from person to person. Most sessions involve a combination of some strengthening exercises and some cardio work. Some options are: - Strength training - Corrective exercise/mobility work - Boxing - Functional conditioning - slamballs, battleropes, kettlebells - Running - Interval/HIIT training - Suspension training (TRX) ​
  • Can I train with family and friends?
    Yes, so long as you're aiming for similar health and fitness goals. Prices depend on the number of people, enquire for more info.
  • Where is the best place to train?
    It depends! A lot of it will come down to your preferences, you're going to be more consistent training somewhere you feel comfortable and that is easy to access. For general weight loss or health related goals, exercising at home or outdoors can be a great option.
  • How long are the sessions?
    Sessions are 50 minutes long. Most sessions are strucured as shown below: + 10min Warm up - Based on your movement assessments you may be set some corrective exercises. We'll get the body warmed up and prepped for the exercise. + 30min Exercise - How this looks depends on your goal/preferences. + 10min Cool down - this is the start of your recovery, helping to reduce muscle sorness and maintain/inprove flexibility.

What happens outside of the training sessions is just as important as the sessions themselves, so that's why I offer a membership structure providing support alongside the training sessions.

TASTER SESSION

Get a feel for my training style and the session content. The taster session is £55.

After the taster session we'll get started, putting a plan together so you know exactly what you need to do.
